The history of the Australian Maritime College

I was never sure why the Maritime College wanted its history written, since it had been going for only twelve years. Or why they asked me, when I was based in Hobart. But they did, so I agreed. 

As ever, many of the people I interviewed were interesting, and they had some novel projects, such as training men from various Pacific islands in nautical activities, like coastguard duties.
